This class is designed for people who wish to create graphics for the web.

Attendees will learn how to create graphics for the web including the pros and cons of using gif, jpeg and png files. Secial effects such as masking and other graphic effects will be taught.In addition attendees will learn to optimize graphics to minimize file size while maximizing quality. Attendees will lalso earn how and when to use "slicing" (an alternate means of creating a layout for a web page) as well as advanced features in Fireworks including using Fireworks to create interface lements, using the Common Library, understanding and using hte new Pages panel, and creating and modifying Rich Symbols.

To gain the most from the class, you should already have:
